Rhea bickham, MS Ed
Board Chair
I am an educator by day and craft goddess by night, who has been a servant leader to our youth in a variety of roles including parent, teacher, counselor, mentor, caseworker, motivational speaker, and foster parent. I currently teach culinary arts in the south suburbs of Chicago and I’m a proud, active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a public service organization focused on promoting academic excellence and addressing community concerns. I love partnering with Henry Williams Love Foundation acting as a catalyst to help people become better versions of themselves while being productive members of thriving communities.

joseph williams
Board Treasurer
I have enhanced my leadership skills through my love of sports and the innovative use of sporting strategies to help communities build resilience, starting at Triton College until now. I am a Hall of Fame member for the NFL minor league Chicago Falcons and bring that same energy and focus to entrepreneurship and community service. It’s such an honor to serve on this organization’s Board of Directors dedicated to my father. He supported me 100% in everything and I hope to provide that same type of support to others in need.

James tate, Jr.
Board Documentarian
I am a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts. As a Chicago native, I am no stranger to serving the community, whether it be sharing words of encouragement through poetry or serving meals alongside my fraternity brothers of Phi Beta Sigma. I recognize the power of organized sports in fostering relationships and believe my experience as a college basketball player will benefit The Board and programming offered by the Henry Williams Love Foundation. Learning is a lifelong journey and I believe it is my responsibility to use what I have learned to help others along on their journey.
